The Story of Our Logo

Our logo expresses our devotion to scientific research; we believe that its qualities and values are in our DNA. After all, it is the mere human instinct of longing for curiosity and the betterment of life that keeps us moving forward.

The DNA strands are constantly interlocking, moving apart, and then intercepting each other once more, signifying how as members of our community, we begin our journey together, yet we simultaneously separate to gather different opinions and findings only to regroup again.

The abstracted eye form interlocking with the DNA strands conveys that our vision swiftly integrates with our work and mission.

The color gradient diffuses from dark to light colors, left to right, insinuating that the future is bright. It is important to note that the bright colors in the strands begin to appear within the element of the eye; conveying that our vision is what instigates change and improvement in our community. Furthermore, Indigo is a color of sadness and misery and its transition to Ochre Yellow portrays happiness and the betterment of life.

The thickness of the strands themselves is an incredibly significant matter to take note of as well, the strands transcend from thick to thinner, left to right, to subconsciously create a fluid transition from the darker strands 'to the future'.

يعبر شعار LABsعن شغفنا للبحث العلمي، فنحن نؤمن بأن قيم البحث ودوافعه متجذرة في حمضنا النووي، بقدر توقنا الفطري لتحسين الحياة وتطويرها. ومنذ القدم شكل الفضول حافزًا لنا للتحرك قدمًا نحو أهدافنا ورؤانا.

تتشابك خطوط حمضنا النووي وتتحرك متباعدة، ثم تلتف وتتقاطع مرة أخرى؛ ما يبرهن على أننا كأفراد في المجتمع نبدأ رحلتنا مجتمعين. لكننا في ذات الوقت نتمتع بالتعددية والإختلاف وتنوع الآراء في سبيل أهداف إنسانية واحدة. كما الوحدة في التنوع والتنوع في الوحدة. وهو ما تجسده العين الثاقبة التي تتشابك مع حمضنا النووي لتشكل رؤية متكاملة بين مفهومي الرسالة والعمل.

تتدرج ألوان الشعار من الداكن إلى الفاتح، من اليسار إلى اليمين لتعبر عن المستقبل المشرق، لتبدأ الألوان الزاهية بالظهور عندما تتقاطع مع العين لإيصال أهداف رسالتنا؛ أن رؤيتنا هي ما يحفز على تطوير المجتمع وتحسينه. إن اللون النيلي يجسد الظلمة لكن انتقاله إلى الأصفر يترجم الأمل والطموح في الحياة.

يشكل سمك الخطوط عاملًا مهمًا في إبراز البعد الزماني. فانتقالها من السمك إلى الدقية، من القاتم إلى الفاتح يحمل فلسفة عميقة في إبراز الإنتقال التدريجي من الحاضر إلى المستقبل.
